3. Detailed Specimen Description
SPECIMEN (A): HYDROCHLORIC ACID SOLUTION (HCL)
- Each candidate will receive 150 cm3 of a solution of Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) labeled ‘An’ in a corked flask or bottle.
- All bottles labeled ‘An’ should contain the same solution with a concentration of 8.5 cm3 of concentrated HCl per dm3 of solution.
- Hydrochloric Acid is a strong acid commonly used in chemical laboratories for various experiments.
SPECIMEN (B): SODIUM CARBONATE DECAHYDRATE (NA2CO3·10H2O) SOLUTION
- Each candidate will receive 150 cm3 of a solution of Sodium Carbonate Decahydrate (Na2CO3·10H2O) labeled ‘Bn’ in a corked flask or bottle.
- All bottles labeled ‘Bn’ should contain identical solutions with a concentration of 5.0 grams of the hydrated salt per dm3 of solution.

SPECIMEN (C): GLUCOSE

Conclusion
